Gary Halbert Update…

Because I know that Gary Halbert touch many of your lives as much as he touched mine, I just wanted post a short update about his passing.

Kevin and Bond (Gary’s sons) asked John Carlton to write a very special message to be put on Gary’s website.

While the funeral for Gary Halbert will be a closed, family only event, Kevin and Bond will be arranging a special memorial service in Gary’s honor which will be open to the public.

The memorial service will be held in Los Angeles in a few weeks.

Also, the family has asked that you not send flowers. Instead, any donations should be sent to a charitable fund that Gary’s sons have set up in his memory with the proceeds going to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

I still find it hard to believe that this larger than life icon of marketing is really gone.

His passing is yet another reminder of how precious life is and how quickly it passes.

Please take the time today to spend a few extra minutes with the ones you love, and make sure that they KNOW how much they mean to you.
