Link to Free “Conversion Rate Optimization” Webinar Recording (only for a limited time…)

Conversion Rate WebinarWOW! The feedback I am getting from last night’s SOLD OUT (we had 1,000 people on the call) Conversion Rate Optimization webinar has been fantastic!

But if you were not able to attend, no problem… I made sure to record the entire thing for you.

So even if you missed it you can view the entire webinar video at the link below.

But because I’m turning last night’s webinar into a paid product (yes… the content was THAT good) I’m not sure how long I’m going to leave the free recordings on my server.

So you’d better go watch the recording while you can!

Happy testing!

Manage Your Swipe Files Fast and Easy…

swipemanager.jpgMy buddy Michel Fortin just announced an update to his fantastic ScribeJuice software.

As a busy copywriter myself, there are tons of features in this massive suite of powerful programs that save me time and effort, but one of the features I’m the most excited about is the “ScribeJuice SwipeManager”.

To say that this puts your swipe file on steroids is an understatement.

Every accomplished master copywriter keeps a “swipe file” to help them write better copy, faster. Online, it can include more than just text. There are colors, layouts, styles, images, and even javascripts you can study and model.

The SwipeManager makes it easy for you to swipe proven sales letters so you can rip them apart and use the best parts to guide you in your own sales copy.

You can also “tag” different elements of those salesletters to easily find what you need. For example,…

The Conversion Doctor’s Blog Is “Not Helpful”?

help.jpgThe other day I got an interesting comment from a new reader to my blog.

This reader named “Max” said:

Hi Eric. I heard a podcast that you were on and I signed up for your blog. You sounded like a very knowledgeable person but I have been subscribed to your blog for more than a week and I have found nothing helpful to the everyday reader.

I wish you would post more often with helpful tidbits and pointers to help conversion on websites. Something that could potentially be of value to me as a reader. After hearing you on that podcast I thought you would have a sweet blog, which I still think you can, but right now I wish for more.

Well… I do agree with Max, that I should post more often.

But to be fair, the reason I don’t post more often is because,…

Website Photography? Only One Choice! (Poor Quality Photo’s HURT Conversion!)

seminar-photography.jpgAfter my earlier post on the results I’ve received from using high quality “action shots” on websites, I’ve had a few readers email me and ask me how to get good quality photographs to use on their websites.

My answer is simple. All of the photos used on my website (and many of my client’s sites) are all taken by the same person. (The ONLY person I trust for my sites photos.)

Mary Mazzullo from

In fact Mary has taken the pictures that just about EVERY top marketer or speaker I know uses on their websites.

As the “Conversion Doctor” I have ample test data that supports the fact that using high quality photo’s can dramatically increase the conversion rates of most websites.

In fact just ONE of the poses Mary took for me has improved the opt-in rate of the page it’s on by over…

Do Pictures of Women Convert Better Than Pictures of Men?

woman-point.jpgAfter sharing the results of my “Point at Your Opt-in Box” test, one of my blog readers, Jay Jennings (from asked a great question…

Jay asked…

“I’d like to see the test results of splitting between a guy pointing, and a woman pointing. My hunch is the woman would win out, even if she’s not the “owner” of the site.”

Well… It just so happens that I have actually tested this exact thing several times in several markets. And what I’ve found is this…
