WHAT!? Michel Fortin Just Called Me A FANATIC! (And he says you should give your visitors “The Finger”…)
My friend, mentor and MULTI-Million dollar copywriter Michel Fortin just posted another comment about me on his blog.
But this time he’s calling me names… He says I’m “fanatical“! (At least when it comes to testing… And, I guess he’s right!)
Michel Said:
Eric Graham has a fantastic blog on web conversion, and he’s also a fanatical tester like I am. He reveals test results to the public that are worth an absolute mint, if you ask me. (You should definitely add his blog to your must-read list. It’s certainly on mine!)
Well… On the heels of Michel’s, “When Eric Graham Speaks, I Not Only Listen. I Take Notes.” testimonial… I’m deeply humbled and grateful.
(Okay… So I’m not exactly “humbled”. Actually my head has swollen to such mammoth proportions little children are pointing, staring and laughing at me. There! Are you happy?)
But wait there’s more…
In response to my last blog post about submit button usability, Michel has this comment:
So the moral of the story is?
If you want your visitors to respond, give them the finger.
Couldn’t have said it better myself!
So…
If Your Visitors Don’t Submit”… Give Them The Finger!
(Tell them Michel Fortin told you to do it!)

Hi Eric,
I don’t mean to spam your post or anything, but the only contact info you left in the feedback form at Web Marketing Advisor was your RSS feed link and I wanted to contact you to say thanks for your compliment about that subject line “Robert Collier found ALIVE!”
I have to admit, it is good isn’t it? I also have to admit, that it is a product of Joe Vitale’s imagination. He dreamt it up when we first promoted our Million Dollar Online Advertising Strategies ebook back in 2004. A timeless subject line, just like Mr.Cs secrets.
